Based off of feedback from the Monitoring Team and the Department of Justice, there has been a brief postponement of the final comment period for the officer training curriculum on stops, searches, arrests, and related aspects of fair and impartial policing. The deadline for BPD to release the draft curriculum for public comment has been extended to September 23, 2019. The public comment period will run for one (1) month, from September 23 - October 23, 2019.
